I have a ford kuga 2017 ST line AWD, I have had the front water jets replaced twice and was told by ford that I was not using the recommended screen wash or using the right concentration of screen wash. I have now got to have them replaced for a third time even though I have used the recommended screen was.

I only did about 4 to 5k miles a year, and to be honest as it so happened, very seldom needed to use windscreen washers, therefore only topped up reservoir maybe twice a year. After about 2 to3 years the 2 nozzles blocked and the only way I could release them was to disconnect at the reservoir.

This worked for mine. I could here the motor running and the pipe would pressure up, so i knew that the nozzle was blocked with limescale probably from lack of use from the old owner. This is why it is a good idea to use ionised water or filtered water with your screen wash and a good mix of wash to stop the system or nozzles from blocking up.

Hi hoping to get some help, my dad has a kuga the rear washer jet isn't working, no water comes out the jet not even a trickle, you can hear the pump / motor working rear wiper works but no water, can anyone suggest what the problem could be and how do you remove the jet as this appears to be flush.
